Everyday Carry Essentials For A Sustainable Lifestyle - ORRA™

In-person learning has commenced, employees are getting called into the office and the world is slowly opening back up leaving many of us, once again, on the go.

No matter where you find yourself traveling to and from daily, switching out the essentials you carry around for sustainable options is not only a great way to save money in the long run but can offer much-needed convenience throughout your day.

If you are new to the world of shopping sustainably, your goal should be to look at the disposable items that you already use daily and seek out options that you can use forever. Not only is this lifestyle change cost-effective but of course has an enormous positive impact on our environment.

If those aren’t already motivating selling points, here are some sustainable alternatives for your everyday carry essentials:

Reusable Coffee Mug

Despite if you make your coffee at home or stop by your local coffee shops, having a reusable mug makes traveling with and refilling your hot beverages so simple.

Metal Food Containers

Metal containers are easy to wash and a great replacement for having to buy Ziploc bags every month if you are someone who carries lunch or snacks. Having these with you also eliminates asking for a to-go box at restaurants! Which let’s admit, we all kind of hate.

Reusable Cutlery Set

Ditch the plastic forks from your favorite fast-food restaurant or food truck by keeping wooden or metal cutlery on you at all times!

Tote/Cloth Bags

You never know when you’re going to need to run an errand or stop at the store and having some reusable bags tucked away will be easy to grab and save you the fee for plastic ones.

Cloth Masks

Wearing and carrying a mask is still a must and replacing your box of disposable ones with washable and re-usable ones is easy, affordable, and great for the planet as we are all fighting to stay safe.

Aside from these items, there is almost always an alternative for the things you use every day. Use this as a beginners guide for a sustainable lifestyle and enter your email below to receive a FREE Brand Sustainability Checklist!
